1. Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to operate BeadLink and provide the features you choose to use.
- Account information: email address, nickname, profile image, birth year and account preferences.
- Content: patterns, images, videos, captions, comments and other content you publish.
- Activity: follows, favorites, exchanges, purchases, Bead Coin activity and creator earnings records.
- Communications: private messages, reports, support requests and video-call history.
- Device information: basic device and diagnostic information required for security and reliable operation.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide pattern discovery and publishing, complete exchanges and purchases, maintain your library, deliver messages and notifications, prevent abuse, review reports, support your account and improve reliability.
3. Camera, microphone and photos
BeadLink requests device permissions only when a related feature needs them:
- Camera: capturing a profile image or starting a video call.
- Microphone: audio during a video call.
- Photos and media: selecting content to publish and saving patterns to your device.
You can deny or withdraw these permissions in system settings. Camera and microphone access is not used in the background.
4. Sharing and service providers
Information may be processed by infrastructure, storage, moderation and customer-support providers only as needed to deliver the service. Purchases made on iOS are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Apple handles the payment details provided to the App Store.
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users, or to investigate fraud and security incidents.
5. Public content and exchanges
Your public profile, published creations and public interactions can be seen by other users. Private messages remain visible only to conversation participants and authorized safety reviewers when a report requires investigation.
A completed pattern exchange grants the agreed personal-use digital license. It does not transfer the creator's copyright.
6. Retention and security
We retain account data while your account is active and for only as long as needed for the purposes described here. After account deletion, data is deleted or anonymized unless transaction, fraud-prevention or legal obligations require limited retention.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
You may update profile information, manage permissions, unfollow or block users, delete conversations and request access to, correction of, export of or deletion of your personal information.
You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Some features may stop working when the related permission or information is unavailable.
8. Children's privacy
BeadLink is not intended for children under 13. If we learn that personal information was collected from a child below the applicable minimum age, we will take reasonable steps to remove it.
9. Policy updates
We may update this policy when features, legal requirements or data practices change. Material changes will be presented in the app with a new effective date where required.
